The Big Stone Area Memory Loss Connection (BSAMLC) is a 501(c)3 volunteer group that educates, supports, and connects people living with memory loss and their caregivers throughout the Big Stone County (MN) area. Our programs are built to create joyful moments for persons living with memory loss and their loved ones — while making sure no family has to navigate this journey alone.
What We Do
Educate
We raise understanding of dementia and memory loss through hands-on experiences, community classes, radio segments, and a local newspaper column.
Support
Through our free Memory Café and other gatherings, we offer people experiencing memory loss and their care companions a welcoming place to belong.
Share Resources
We connect families to memory loss kits, library resources, driving-safety assessments, interactive companion pets, and other local supports.
